My grandmother got a call from a tech support scammer this weekend. Fortunately, my dad was there to save the day, but they had her very concerned. These people are good at what they do, and they know how to use technical jargon that you don’t understand to make you believe there is a problem where there isn’t one. Please remember: REAL TECH SUPPORT DOESN’T CALL YOU; you have to call them (or me!). If you believe your computer really does have a problem, call me and I can check it out remotely even if you don’t live close by. Please stop giving these people your money!
