Don’t be a sucker

There’s no shortage of people trying to separate you from your money. I received one such call this afternoon: some advertising company trying to sell expensive ad space in a publication allegedly for several local golf clubs. But a call to Sun ‘N Lake Golf Club (thanks, Mike!) quickly helped me determine what I already suspected: SCAM. Small, fledgling businesses are especially vulnerable to these kind of attacks. Don’t become a victim; most of the time, it’s not hard to verify their claims, but you have to do your own homework!
